Met lots of new friends, saw a zillion bands I wanted to see, bought a million buttons from PORK, added to our record collection, and just basically spent two days drinkin’ in the sun with my sweetie. Did I mention I rebroke my butt dancing to Shannon and The Clams? Because I did. And they were amazing.

♡ SUMMER TIME ♡

So it took me 21 years, but I finally really hurt myself dancing at a show. Lots of bruises, and a cracked tailbone. No regrets though, Sharks From Mars and The No Tomorrow Boys both play the kind of rock ‘n roll that demands you dance and get wild (and let’s be honest, standing around looking bored at a show is one of the lamest fucking things you can possibly do), and it was a benefit show for one of the friendliest, awesomest dudes I’ve happened to have crossed paths with in my life.
